The ITU/WHO/WIPO Global Initiative on AI for Health (GI-AI4H) holds regular meetings and workshops around the globe.
You are welcome to participate onsite or online. The events are open to all and free of charge.
The Global Initiative on Artificial Intelligence for Health (GI-AI4H) was launched by the three United Nations (UN) Specialized Agencies ITU, WHO and WIPO in July 2023 at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva. You find further information in the press release and below.
The Global Initiative on AI for Health is a joint programme by three Specialized Agencies of the United Nations:
The activities of the Global Initiative are based on three pillars:
Knowledge sharing, data sharing, cooperation, pooled funding, synergies, a global community of experts
The GI-AI4H continues work of its predecessor FG-AI4H (2018-2023) on an Artificial Intelligence for Health Framework with standards on horizonal subjects (like regulation, ethics, clinical evaluation, benchmarking, etc.) and vertical (medical) topics (such as cardiology, dermatology, dentistry).

You can attend workshops and meetings online or onsite. They are open to all. Participation is free of charge. We also communicate everything on the mailing list of FG-AI4H.
Where possible, travel by experts from low-income or middle-income countries can be funded, with a grant provided by Fondation Botnar. Find further information here.
